We collect personal data generally for the purposes and in connection with: (i) the way you have chosen to book a cab (by phone, on-line, via a mobile app or Viber), (ii) the use of our website, (iii) filling in the contact forms when you contact us on-line (for example, when you make an inquiry about services by subscription via our website or when you want to use the Taxi Button service, etc.).
What Data We Collect and for What Purposes (Purposes of Processing)?
Book a Cab by Phone
When you book a cab by phone on 02/91119 or 1219, for the purposes of the services provided by us, we ask you to give us your phone number, so that we can call you, and the pick-up address for the cab. In addition to this, for the purposes of our work and book-keeping, as well as to provide you with a comfortable trip every time, we also store the route and the end destination of your trip, along with other information: how you paid for your ride, whether pets rode in the cab, and any information provided by the user of the service.
For your convenience, when you next call us, and again for the purposes of our book-keeping, we keep your phone number and the recent addresses from where you have booked a cab in our system.
In addition, when booking a cab by phone, the call is recorded to improve the service. Orders records are kept for a maximum of 3 months and then automatically deleted. It is possible, in case of dispute, some records to be kept until such disoute it is finally resolved.
Please kindly bear in mind that in case you do not want these data stored and used by us when you next use our services, for us it is technically impossible to delete the data automatically. For this to be done, you need to request data deletion at e-mail email@example.com. Please kindly remember that the deletion will lead to loss of information about your orders. The data may not be deleted either, if by virtue of a special statutory act or legal requirement of a government institution we are required to store the data, and if our legitimate interest allows us to store some of your data.
Book a Cab via a Mobile App
You can also book a cab via our mobile app Yellow!. For your registration in our mobile app (an application in Google Play and App store), you provide us with your name and surname (you may also use nicknames), e-mail address, phone number and pick-up address for the cab. In addition to this, for the purposes of our work and book-keeping, we also store the route and the end destination of your trip.
Please kindly bear in mind that in case you do not want these data stored and used by us when you next use our services, for us it is technically impossible to delete the data automatically. For this to be done, you need to request data deletion at e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. The data may not be deleted either, if by virtue of a special statutory act or legal requirement of a government institution we are required to store the data, and if our legitimate interest allows us to store some of your data. However, please kindly bear in mind that if you delete the data you have given us in the mobile app (your account), you will not be able to use the service again and will need to register anew when you next access the mobile app.
In addition, we kindly draw your attention also to the fact that with the installation of our app on your mobile phone and/or another device, you get the personal data of our drivers who are driving you and/or have driven you in our previous orders so that you can find your cab. These data are stored on your app for a certain time for your convenience and also in the case of lost items, complaints about the service, driver rating, and/or any other information you wish to share with us. However, it is entirely your responsibility not to use the personal data of our drivers for other purposes save those listed here.
Book a Cab on Viber
You can also book a Yellow! cab using our Viber bot. For the purposes of registration to use the Viber bot, you provide us with your name(s) (you may also use a nickname), phone number and pick-up address for the cab. In addition to this, for the purposes of our work and book-keeping, we also store the route and the end destination of your trip. Viber encrypts your messages and they cannot be traced to you to make possible for third persons to identify you.
Automatically with the registration on our Viber bot you obtain access to our public chat where you may keep up-to-date with the latest news about us and our services. The updates are not sent to your personal account and do not bother your daily business in any way; you may check them up only when you go to our public chat as a follower.
Please kindly bear in mind that in case you do not want these data stored and used by us when you next use our services, for us it is technically impossible to delete the data automatically. For this to be done, you need to request data deletion at e-mail email@example.com. The data may not be deleted either, if by virtue of a special statutory act or legal requirement of a government institution we are required to store the data and if our legitimate interest allows us to store some of your data. However, please kindly bear in mind that if you delete the data you have given us in Viber, you will not be able to use the service again and will need to register anew when you next decide to use Viber.
In addition, we kindly draw your attention to the fact that with using our Viber bot on your mobile phone and/or another device, you get the personal data of our drivers who are driving you, who have driven you in our previous orders, and/or who have started a trip to carry our your order but which was cancelled for some reason. Our drivers' personal data that reach you are (at the most) name and surname, phone number, photo and a Viber account of the driver, so that you can find your cab. These data are stored on your app for your convenience and also in the case of lost items, complaints about the service, driver rating, and/or any other information you wish to share with us. We cannot erase these data as they are stored on your personal Viber account. Due to this it is entirely your responsibility not to use the personal data of our drivers for other purposes save those listed here.
Book a Cab on Our On-line Platform
To do so, you can register for the purposes of booking a cab. For your registration, you provide us with your name and surname (you may also use nicknames), e-mail address and phone number. This is how you get a profile to our web order system.
In order to book a cab, we also require an address where you expect a car to be shipped. Furthermore, for the purposes of our activity and accountability, we record the route and the end point you have travelled. You can also fill in other information such as number of passengers, luggage, payment method.
When ordering a taxi from/to Sofia Airport, we require additional information such as flight number, number of passengers, luggage and more.
Please kindly bear in mind that in case you do not want your data, as our registered user, to be stored and used by us when you next use our services via the web based platform, for us it is technically impossible to delete the data automatically for our system. For this to be done, you need to request data deletion at e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. The data may not be deleted either, if by virtue of a special statutory act or legal requirement of a government institution we are required to store the data and if our legitimate interest allows us to store some of your data. However, please kindly bear in mind that if you delete the data you have given us in the web platform, you will be able to book a cab only without registration, (unless you sign up again), which will greatly reduce the convenience of a quick booking for you.
Cab Vouchers/Yellow Subscribers
If you are a customer by subscription, this means that you and/or employees of your organization use our cab services with payment vouchers issued by Yellow.
When you use a paper voucher, it is filled in with the following information: date when the cab service was carried out, start time, destination, and name and signature of the person who used the service (usually a subscriber's employee). The vouchers with these data are handed over to Yellow by our drivers at the end of each calendar month. Yellow processes them within one month (30 days) at the most, and returns the vouchers to the respective subscription customer. Our drivers and Yellow exercise extreme care and responsibility in respect of the personal data contained in the vouchers, namely, name and signature of the person who used the service. The data are stored according to the proper technical and organizational measures.
When electronic vouchers are used, Yellow again provides proper technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data contained in the vouchers (the data are the same as with the paper voucher, but without a signature). All orders received via an electronic voucher are processed via our Autocab system as described below.
In addition to the above, our customers often avail themselves of our airport transfer service from and to Sofia Airport. In this connection Yellow received data about third persons visitors or employees of our customers. The information is re-sent to our drivers who prepare name sheets (on paper or on a tablet) containing the name and surname of the person that needs to be picked up so that he/she can be identified. We need and process the following data: name and surname of the person, phone number, flight number, airport terminal, destination, and manner of payment.
Personal data by customer's assessment (rating)
As detailed in our Terms and Conditions for Use of the Tax Shipment Service of YELOW 333 AD (the "Yellow's Terms&Conditions"), section "Customer Assessment (Rating)", you are subject to an evaluation by Yellow with respect to your correct attitude towards us, our drivers and operators.
Usually, the way we evaluate our customers is manually done, and the information and feedback we get from our drivers is recorded to your phone number (for example, an unpaid account, a customer who has not shop up when an order is made, etc.). So we decide whether to perform services to you or not and at what time of the day to perform orders from you. We also manually enter customer's ratings for customers to be encouraged by us - such as award for large number of orders, trips made, and more.
Part of our customer assessment is done in addition to manual with an automated data processing intervention - an algorithm in our ordering system calculates the percentage of those cases in which you ordered a tax but did not use it. This is an automatic setting, but not entirely, because it is governed by us. We have a choice to decide which order communication channel (mobile app, Viber, online) what percentage of unfulfilled orders to count that to determine whether we to perform services to you or not and whether we serve you in peak hours or not. Customers are grouped into our system in a number of categories (for example, "Perfect Customer", "Customer to Be Restricted", "Customer Receiving Services Completely", "Limited Customer", etc.). Customer status may change from one state to another automatically depending on the orders it uses. However, we regularly check our system, the correctness of the algorithms used, and we retain the ability to manually change the customer's status if we believe it will be serviced despite accumulated negatives. In these cases, we also use your phone number for the purpose of assessing your status.
In connection with the above, we note that even if you do not use our services for a longer period of time and/or request that your personal data be completely deleted by us (name, address, direction, route or other information, as described above), it is in our legitimate interest to keep at least your phone number, with your status as our customer, for a certain period of time. In this way, we will be able to recognize our incorrect customers and protect ourselves from misuse of our services (as well as with a view to protecting all our legitimate rights and interests in a possible dispute). The personal data stored is in a minimum volume and is not used for anything other than the purposes described herein. Such data does not significantly harm your legal rights and interests, nor do represent a risk for you.
Autocab/Other Necessary Information
For the purposes of our services, we use the international system Autocab, www.autocab.com. If a cab booking is confirmed by you (by one of the possible ways to order), the data provided by you are stored safely in the Autocab system for on-line booking, which too adheres to all requirements for personal data protection according to the applicable European legislation. The data stored in Autocab are kept on servers within Europe. Autocab fully adheres to all our instructions about your data and their storage.
We sometimes may use and analyse aggregate information (aggregate data referring to a group or category services or customers from which the individual identities or characteristics have been removed), collected by means of the provision of analytic data, so that we can administer, maintain, improve and develop our services.
In addition to the above, in connection with certain special requirements you may have to us, occasionally we may store details such as about people with health issues or disabilities, number and age of children and/or pets. Such information is processed in compliance with all necessary technical and organizational measures for its protection, as well as in line with the requirements of the applicable legislation.
If you wish to use a payment terminal to make your payment, provided that your cab has one, the data for your credit/debit card too can be stored so that we may provide the service you have requested. This operation is performed using a card reader managed by Pay Pal, www.paypal.com, in compliance with the applicable laws on protection of personal data.
When you book a cab, you data is used in a responsible manner also by our operators, solely and only for the purpose of the provision of our service. Our operators, as well as our drivers, have undergone personal data protection training and we carefully monitor the compliance with our data protection rules on their part. Our processing of all your personal data is based on our internal data protection policies which comply with the currently applicable national and European legislation in this respect.

- send a request about subscription services;
- use the Taxi Button service;
- contact us to advertise with us;
- rate a driver or a vehicle;
- contact us in the case of lost items, etc.
In connection with the above we collect the following personal data: name and surname, e-mail address, and phone number. When you send us a comment/report, you may also provide us with other data as you deem fit. We store only the information that we need to get back in touch with you. Any additional data you provide us with are not processed nor stored by Yellow and we are not liable for such data as you provide us with voluntarily. In the above-mentioned cases, the data is stored until the service is performed, the customer's response or the final inspection and resolution of the case and/or dispute.
Please kindly bear in mind that without at least the required data as listed here above, the systems for contact with you can hardly work and we cannot render our services to you.
When you visit our website, we collect standard information for our internet log and details about the patterns of users' behaviour. We do this in order to find information, for example, about the number of visitors in the different sections of the website. We collect this information in a way that does identify anyone. When we use the data thus collected, we do not make any attempts to identify the visitors to our website. We do not associate any data from the log on our website with information for personal identification from any source.
Web platforms we use
In addition to the above, we would like to inform you that we use Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/yellowtaxibg/), YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCG9hjWJ4riXMJ2PlQgKzqwQ), Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/YellowTaxiBGMobile/), and have our own Viber chat bot, (http://chats.viber.com/yellowtaxi). We use these platforms to keep in touch with our followers, This is not done with the purpose of processing your personal data, nor do we have access to such. However, it is still useful to familiarize yourself with the privacy policies of these platforms so that you know what of your data are processed by them.
Our web-pages have embedded plug-ins from Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
When you visit our web-pages, the plugins create a direct link between your browser and the said platforms. We would like to point out that as a provider of the websites we do not receive any information about the content of the transmitted data as well as about its use by these platforms. If you do not want some of those three platforms to link your visit to our website with your accounts in them, simply exit your user account in the appropriate platform.

On What Basis Do We Process Your Data?
Yellow processes your personal data lawfully, on the basis of a) our legitimate interest in performing taxi transportation services in the ways as set out here above; b) our legitimate interest to maintain our website and the functionalities therein in the best possible condition, so that we can inform you about our services and/or we can contact you; c) on the basis of our contractual relations with you; and d) on the basis of our legal obligations, as per the applicable national and European legislation.
Who Has Access to Your Data? Third Parties/Data Recipients?
Yellow does not allow access to your data and does not transfer your data to third parties, with the exception of the cases mentioned herein, strictly related to the provision of our services.
Your data can be used by our assistants who provide the technological means to get in touch with you and render our services (eg, Autocab, Google Play and Viber). This enables us to ensure the provision of our services to you. In this connection, your phone number is accessible to the company with which we ensure the sending of texts to you about the status of your order.
In addition to the above, access to your personal data (to a different extent depending on the communication channel you have selected for your order, as detailed here above) is obtained by our drivers in order to be able to carry out the taxicab service. All of our drivers strictly adhere to our privacy policies concerning our customers (and their employees) and are personally responsible for the use of these data solely and only for the purpose of the taxicab services. Some of the communication channels we use for booking a cab and for contact with you (for example, Viber) enable (without the knowledge and wish on the part of Yellow) direct contact between the drivers (their accounts) and the customers using a Yellow taxicab service (You). In this regard, Yellow has explicitly advised its drivers that they may not use these personal data to contact you on any occasion other than cab and related services (except with your explicit consent, of course). Yellow is not responsible if, despite this, a driver and/or you (or your employees) decide to get in touch on a different occasion and for different purposes through (for example) your personal Viber accounts. Yellow may not nor has the technical ability to delete data from personal accounts.
Provided that it is lawful and on the basis of our legitimate interest, we may provide your personal data to our legal consultants in certain cases and only when necessary.
Yellow does not transfer your data outside the EU and/or the European Economic Area. The servers of our website are located in Bulgaria. Autocab stores your data in Europe.
With regard to eg, Viber, Google Play and App store, who may store (albeit fragmentarily and/or without the possibility for data individualization) your data in third countries (for example, the United States), we treat responsibly our partnership with them and have read their privacy policies and the ways in which they provide the proportionate and necessary technical and organizational measures in this connection. We undertake to ensure that the information you provide us with is protected.
